My husband and I will be buying a car in the next few weeks. To the car gurus out there...
Is the current summer clearance sale for hyundai the best deal (up to $6k off) and the sale ends July 31st?
Or is it better to wait until Labor Day weekend?
He will need a car no later than that. Just trying to determine he best time to buy it. We also just bought me a car (Santa Fe sport) a couple of weeks ago, so would go back to the same dealership as they were great to work with.
Such sales are largely just fluff. But the last day of the month on an outgoing model year is where great deals can be had. As prior year is on firesale and they are trying to meet month end quotas. They'll typically get even better later in the year, yes. But chance of finding the specific trim you want dwindles.
I would not buy Labor Day weekend at the start of a month.
Get quotes online from all dealers within a day trip of driving. Pitch them against each other. Don't just walk in to the local one blind to what others would offer.
