Hyundai Azera Discontinued in U.S. Amid Rise of Genesis Brand via MOTOR TREND News for iPhone
Hyundai Azera Discontinued in U.S. Amid Rise of Genesis Brand - Motor Trend

Can't say I'm not surprised. Though a decent car to compete with the Toyota Avalon, it just wasn't a big seller especially now that the Sonata has improved in quality and features and Hyundai developing the Genesis brand. Shame since the upcoming Azera looks really good.

You can probably get a smoking deal on one right now. Looks too much like the Sonata. People probably confused the two. It's also not marketed right. I didn't even know it was in their line up. I just went from the Sonata to the Genesis.

Yeah the Genesis pretty much took a big bite out of the K900 sales. I have personally only seen two K900s and I drive all over the place

You realize the Genesis was out almost 4 years in the US before the K900 was introduced and that they use the same platform?

The K900 didn't sell because it was too soft, didn't offer AWD, and came from a brand not known for luxury automobiles. It's value proposition wasn't able to outweigh the above faults.

The K900 looked almost exactly like the Kia Optima. If you can't read the label, they're very hard to tell the difference unless they're side by side.

Love the look of the Genesis. Is it a good value considering the price?
