Normal. A car is considered new until it has been titled.

Could have been delivered from another dealer out of state.

A lot of people test drove it and passed on buying it.

Good luck!

Did you not look at the odometer when you bought it? There is also an odometer disclosure form you sign when you buy a new car. Two things I always look at are odometer reading and build date. I don't want anything that's been driven a lot or has been sitting on the lot for more than a month or two.

That's the party line. By this logic, demos with 5000 miles on them are "new"

In the majority of states "A new car is defined merely as one that has not been sold or leased to a consumer". Mileage is irrelevant.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, they mentioned it was transferred from another dealer. i did see the odometer form but they put 130 miles on it. in fact they initially put 25 and then corrected it. only later did i look at the car odometer to see it was more like 230+ . btw, where do i see the build date?

Open the drivers side door and look under the lock for the info plate.

Someone drove it from 1 dealer to another because it matched your color/option/package choices.

Common.
