Electric steering does not have to feel numb. It's all in how much - or how little - boost is designed in.

He got a custom Continental
He got an Eldorado too
He got a 32 gun in his pocket for fun
He got a razor in his shoe

And it's bad, bad Leroy Brown
The baddest man in the whole damned town
Badder than old King Kong
Meaner than a junkyard dog.

Having driven cross-country twice, I am convinced that there is nothing better for long-distance travel than a Lincoln Town Car. I can remember stopping at rest stops after driving all day and still feeling refreshed in a way that no small car can deliver. Also, the ability to fit all of my luggage in a spacious trunk rather than tying it to the roof... priceless. Wind noise and engine drone is not something I want to hear during a long trip. The faint hum of air conditioning, and the occasional muted thump as you glide effortlessly over bumps... music to my ears.

Never missed the ability to take a hairpin turn at 100 mph with no body roll! Not once!
