I have factory navigation in my Silverado LTZ, and quite frankly, GM factory nav sucks. The factory nav in my Hyundai Sonata is vastly superior. When I hit the road with my Silverado I just use a Garmin Nuvi that sits on the dash. If a good factory nav is really important to someone, they should consider Hyundai or Kia.
I drive a 2015 Chevy Sonic LTZ and i love it. But since i dislike using my phone, is it smart to replace the touchscreen for a gps Bluetooth enabled one? Current also has rearview camera.
Could live with my current one, so its not a big deal if i can't swap them.
Nope. I would leave it as is. When you go to sell, this could be an issue. Do you have a warranty on the vehicle right now? If you lease the vehicle, touch nothing.
Go to amazon my friend.
$200 gets you everything enabled, from pioneer ,in a double din unit. 7" screen. It offers gps, blue tooth, back up camera, usb, micro sansdisk, takes it all.
There is a hack out there where you can fit a tablet .
So id be better off buying a touchscreen that can mirror my phones screen if the gps system is as bad as you say.
Btw i DID mention my question, its the title nobody clearly read... I don't like repeating the question when i could be more direct with my responses by having it ad the title.
Your better off just leaving it the way it as, and get a windshield mount for your phone.
Suction cup is very movable. In fact ours falls off every couple of weeks.
