Ok what is one thing that a passenger does that drives you mental?
Noises....my mother makes noises like"" uuuuu""" whenever the gap btw two cars is less than a meter. I don't normally curse but boy do things get ugly when she does that.

If you're talking about a real meter, as in just over three feet, and driving down the road you'd hear a heck of a lot more than that from me! That's insane and you shouldn't be driving if you think it is even remotely okay.

If you're talking about parked cars, that's something else again and you've got a point.

My sister used to get in my car (passenger seat) and immediately turn on the A/C, even when it was only 50 degrees outside. Then she'd change my radio station. I told her it was my car, my rules. If she wanted to drive her car, she could do what she wanted. One time she was riding with a coworker and didn't like what another car was doing, so she leaned over and laid on the horn!

My mom used to ask me to turn down the radio so she could see what she was doing, it never made sense to me how those 2 were connected but for her they were lol

I am sure it drives my husband batty, but he unconsciously tailgates all the time and by that I mean 2 car lengths or less going 55-65mph. I use my passenger side invisible brake and brace for impact on the dashboard with my hand. If I say anything he gets upset so I have a non-verbal cue.

Telling me which way to turn with steering wheel already half way into that direction?
When she's behind the steering wheel, I go into the rear seat and play chess on phone. It's better for her to think "He does not love me" than for me to go berserk over HER driving in the front seat. I feel safe in the rear.
