I thought Honda's were supposed to be reliable and cheap to keep. I might as well be driving a new Audi with the amount I'm spending on this thing. I'm a recent grad and I don't have a ton of money to be throwing on a car. Is Honda even considered good quality anymore?[/quote]
Yes this is normal. It's part of keeping up with an older car.

"new Audi"
"I don't have a ton of money to be throwing on a car"
You're joking right.
No money...hey let's buy a new Audi vs keeping a more reliable older Honda.
You have to remember....taxes, gas, insurance, tires, and potential lost down time to warranty work. But I do hear Audis have been getting more reliable these days.
But Audis are gonna cost WAY more...plus if a tail light breaks or you need tires or new brakes on an Audi....get ready to pay EVEN MORE than what you paid for the Honda.

Of course it is.
Go drive a 9 year old Audi or BMW and come back and tell us how unreliable Hondas are.....
