I used to, back when they were a few pages long, at most 50 very small pages with lots of pictures. Now? I got one book, an inch thick with smallish type and few pictures. That's for the car. Then there's the audio book, same size. My car is 2.5 years old and I haven't gotten to the audio book yet. And don't intend to.

Camera owner's manual is the same thing. First book is about the same size, and then there's an auxiliary book. Being (having been) a professional photographer, I think I got most of the first book read but quit there. Dang! It just proves how complicated everything is these days.

I always go through mine. I learn a lot of things. When I bought my 2016 Silverado, I just assumed the 5.3 took six quarts of oil, just like my 2001 5.3. Nope, the newer 5.3s take eight quarts of oil. Read the manual, because you can't google what you don't know to ask about.

I always read my manual!

I'm as mechanically inclined as a rock; though. My last car was a new "for me" car & it didn't come with one! I told my husband & he said "so ...?"

So I found a pdf online & was going to print it out but it was 400+ pages. The car is now paid off & I still don't know what all those buttons do. The mirrors, lights & seats will just self adjust ... I have no idea why. Last month I spent a week complaining about my car making noise when turning, or grabbing when I'd pull into a parking lot. Husband said power steering fluid was low so he added some.

Next morning it was still acting the same & I suddenly realized my 4-wheel drive was on. He calls to ask if it was "running any better now?" Ugh. I just said yes.

The other day I noticed something "off" about the back seat on the passenger side so I'm curious ...
if I find out that this car has had my "most missed" feature of a third row seat this whole time? I'm going to feel so stupid but it wouldn't happen if I had my manual.

The owner's manual? Yes, I read every page for two reasons... 1. Good to know how everything works/operates; 2. I find them interesting.

Absolutely and then skim the service manual as well so I can do some little modifications like swapping out the wimpy horn and hardwire a dashcam.

I tried to stop my car from automatically locking the doors as soon as I reached 10mph. I followed the steps in the manual, didn't work. Tried a few more times. Got my brother to try. Finally took it to the dealer and asked them to adjust it. They couldn't figure it out, either. So I live with locked doors and don't bother to read the manual.

I read the owner's manual before I even buy the car. That way I know what actual features it has and it's maintenance requirements before for I make a purchasing decision.
For example I learned my car allows me to remotely roll down the windows by holding down the remote's lock button. The dealer didn't even know that.
