When starting out driving the other day I thought something felt funny? The brakes maybe? Maybe they went down to far or felt squishy? I wasn't paying attention. Then it seemed to rectify itself but I looked down and noticed the brake light was on so turned around. That was a few days ago.
So I checked the brake fluid. Its not on a flat spot but it seemed above min level. Small reservoir and maybe just above but still above.
Not sure what else I can look at. There always seems like little spots of condensation etc. under the car so its hard to tell if there is a leak. Feels a little risky driving to the mechanic but not sure its worth towing.
Does pumping the brakes and...? Tell me anything?
What typically is the problem?
This is a 97 S10 Blazer, very rusty but have maintained everything as it comes up very well. New radiator and water pump this year. Battery last year.
I did buy a replacement car 4 months ago and have been alternating between driving them as the plates on the Blazer were good through Aug.
If this is a simple fix I could try to sell it. If not sell as a parts car or donate it (don't itemize so not a tax break).
If it wasn't rusty I'd keep it, I love it like an old dog.
