The truck will be going down road and suddenly die as if ignition was turned off. When I pull over, it will have zero power to dome light or dash lights, wait an hour or so, it starts up. I have checked battery, it is fine. Have been told it may be coil, battery, fuel pump, fuel filter, solenoid and even a cam shaft sensor. Being an older truck, doors are hard to shut. I shut door once and it lost everything at once and died. I'm lost. It's a 1986 Dodge D150 with slant 6 motor.

It is the chassis ground. Start at the battery and clean the connection to the battery post. Check the other end where it attaches to the chassis. Check the ground cable itself to make sure it is a good continuous wire. There will be other ground connections to be sure the electrical system gets power. Check them too.
"that's my guess and I'm sticking to it."

Think of it this way: If the car was running you could disconnect the battery and the motor would not shut off. You couldn't restart it, but it would run fine. In order to die the ground has to be disconnected.
Of course, you could also have an interruption of the fuel flow, but that is usually not an abrupt shutoff. Just in case, check for a clogged fuel pump or filter.
