That's $312 a year. How is that possible? I mean I believe you. I didn't know it can be that cheap.

I will read up on it.

I've always been a good driver.

Just in the interest of full disclosure, I had a DWI 4 years ago (everyone I'm contacting me is telling me after 5 years my insurance situation will change).
Yeah, that will drive your price up.

With your old cars in rust country, you should probably just go with liability, figuring if you wreck one on your own, you will just buy another beater out of savings. Rust never sleeps.

I did get in touch with another person out of the YP and they are at $398 paid in full for 6 months. That's over $100 cheaper than progressive direct if they're accurate with that quote.

Before my last dwi I was paying around $50 a month and I live in the inner city (more cars, poorer drivers and more crime) and I was content with that. Someone told me that 1 in 4 drivers in my 55106 don't even have insurance. I've seen so many wrecks by my house it happens alot.

I have a 99 Tacoma SR5 bought new in July 2000,now has 207,000 miles like new.I am retired and having had to move to tax happy Ct have only driven 3000 miles in two years.
My insurer Farmers started at $280 for 6 months and now up to $380 for my liability $100/$300 which I see as adequate after 64 years with no tickets nor accidents,I guess this is my reward.

Insurance companies know they can count on responsible drivers to..well..keep being responsible and drive safe and make payments on time. They know they can count on you the responsible drivers to bail out the uninsured and the bad drivers. That's why your rates keep going up.

I have Geico. They are way cheaper for me than any other option, but that may be because I've been with them about 7 years now. But, I check every year and nobody can give me a better rate.

I also hit a parked car when trying to parrallel park a bunch of years ago, and they didn't raise my rates, but took really good care of my neighbor's car (who I hit). She was quite happy with the service. So, I stick with them.

I just checked. I paid $27.82 per month from Aug 2016 to February 2017 (this was the only bill I could find - I was too tired to look for a current bill). So it's actually $333.84 a year, although every six months I get a bill and it goes up a couple cents on each bill.

I really don't know why it's so cheap. I live right downtown in an area where you wouldn't want to walk around after dark, but it's a twelve year old car with an alarm (which I never set) and I'm an old woman (non smoker) and I only put about 4000 miles a year on the car. My only accident was in 2004 and that wasn't my fault. My last ticket was in 2005, I think.

I had State Farm from 1975 to about 2009 without a break and my rate wasn't that low. Who knows?

Every time I check with Geico they never come close to as cheap as Progressive. No one ever really has.
