There should be a separate smaller maintenance manual. And likely 10k/1 year for VW.

And the manufacturers are clever. The book pages are not numbered, per se, they're identified by section and section page. The last "page" of my Mazda's owner's guide is 10-8, but the PDF shows there are 602 pages. Nowadays the Quick Start is as big as the entire manual for my '74 Datsun!

No.

7500.

Great. Since we cannot find the information in the book, we'll just wait for the car to talk to us.
You know most come with a separate book that covers maintenance I know mi Kia did it tell you all about when to get service done.

LOL! Yeah, that's where we eventually found it. Guess the owner's manual was too thick to put it there!

Be very glad you get a owners manual. Computers, phones, tablets your on your own. Nothing to even get you started.

Bigger issue with VW for me is that a big chunk of the manual refers to features only found on the European market version of the vehicle.

Why haven't we moved on to digital versions customized to each VIN?

Wasn't there a separate maintenance book in the portfolio?

I had to ask about oil changes..... because I barely put 1000 miles a year on a vehicle. Book says 1 year or 10,000 miles. Service said one year.
