And the manufacturers are clever. The book pages are not numbered, per se, they're identified by section and section page. The last "page" of my Mazda's owner's guide is 10-8, but the PDF shows there are 602 pages. Nowadays the Quick Start is as big as the entire manual for my '74 Datsun!
Don't get me started on vehicle maintenance information. My wife and I searched for 20 minutes looking for when to take her Jetta for the first maintenance. Finally we gave up and just called VW to request the first service.
They asked, "Have you had it a year yet?"
No.
"How many miles?"
7500.
"Don't worry, the car will TELL YOU when it's due for service."
Great. Since we cannot find the information in the book, we'll just wait for the car to talk to us.
You know most come with a separate book that covers maintenance I know mi Kia did it tell you all about when to get service done.

I had to ask about oil changes..... because I barely put 1000 miles a year on a vehicle. Book says 1 year or 10,000 miles. Service said one year.
