8-9 yrs... Not sure which is likely to survive the longest in NY salt...

I will surmise it will NOT be the Dodge.

Thus I usually buy my minivans in TX, CA, OR, WA

The truth is that I don't see many Dodge Caravans around, the older body around. I do see a lot of 08'+ but NY/NJ is mostly Sienna and Odyssey. Probably Sienna more, I still see a few clean 00-03 models around.

No AWD = No care. Sienna.

If you've convinced yourself that AWD offers no benefit to you (perhaps some more research is in order), Odyssey.

Dodge is simply incapable of building a reliable vehicle.

??? Sienna have AWD's. Mine's the XLE AWD and it floated through the snow as if it weren't there.

If I was regularly hauling stuff that required removing the second row in the van, I'd want one where the seats don't have to come out.
Pulling the seats out is not stow and go. On a Dodge both rows fold flat into the floor. This is an extremely useful feature for many people. It’s not for everyone though.

Wrong! All of the Dodge vehicles I have own were very reliable. Quit making stuff up. If you prefer thee other vans, fine. There’s no need to bad mouth the competition.

After a few weeks with the 09' Odyssey EX-L. This thing handles better than some full-size sedans I am impressed with the factory suspension. The transmission tends to behave like CVT on the highway with the ECO mode which shuts off 2 cyclinder. It's got decent low end torque, the 2011 Sienna was definitely stronger at lower speeds.

The place I bought was a bit shady, before I bought it I saw an Interstate Battery inside. When I went to pick up the car they switched the battery. The did it when they told me they were taking it for a free oil change and car wash.

The battery died 2 days later, I charged it with a 100amp charger and it wouldn't hold a charge luckily there was a battery sale so I picked up a good Interstate Mega-tron battery.

Overall, good deal they gave me a decent set of Hangook tires that still had a lot of tread.

The Sienna, as its generally been a proven model....... and im not a huge fan of Chrysler consumer cars. AND, the Hondas have been KNOWN to have transmission issues
