15 year old beater, those leaks are pretty normal. Just keep dumping oil into it.

If smell is your only complaint... fix the Valve cover gasket.
But... Only if you intend on keeping /willing to fix tranny. (If it needs attention).

If you are fixing the tranny... you can fix the lower oil leaks then.

If you are in the rust belt.... consider replacing the vehicle with a non-rust belt used vehicle. I find Dallas to be a very low cost, centrally located place to buy used cars and trucks. SWA can usually get you there for under $100, or get a delivery quote from U-ship.com

If you have a VC gasket leaking less than 2 yrs after a $300 repair... you need a new mechanic. Consider doing it yourself in a couple hours and $20-$30 in parts. Do not over tighten! Use a high quality one piece ribbed and metal insert gasket... not brand X

Generally, I do not like snake oil products, and I know motors pretty well ( I build hot rods and race motors). But with 157,000 on the clock, is it really worth putting a lot of money into fixing those 3 leaks, especially when the transmission is going out ?

Try it, you can come back an thank me later.
Ha. Long ago I had a furrin car that started to burn or use oil. I added a can of STP, probably about 12 ounces, the goo looked like about 80 weight.

The problem was solved, even after numerous oil changes. Magic!
