These things rusted like crazy even when they weren't in the ground. Italian cars of that era and water don't mix.

My exwife had an incident about 12 years ago, where she bought a used truck off a buy here pay here lot, after 3 payments, the place that financed the loan refused to take the monthly payments, they claimed to know nothing about this truck, loan or my exwife. She ultimately got an $8900. truck for under a grand.

Eventually the lien was removed at the courthouse, but it was definitely an experience, the people at the county DMV said people and cars do fall thru the cracks here and there. I always used to joke with her that she should have bought a Ferrari thru this company!

It probably seemed like a good idea to steal it at the time but like a dog chasing a car, what do you do with it when you catch it ?
