You may think you are not, however you project that you are. I’m a 76 year old white man, and I wear hoodies all the time. The most comfortable shirt ever made. I wear them driving, walking, in the house and around town.

I see perfectly fine driving my cars, that’s because I don’t use the phone, or listen to music or anything other than drive.

Cops never pull me over, even with my hoodie, dark windows, and no front license plate. So if someone wants to whine about my hoodie, have fun, I don’t give a rats a##.

By the way I’m wearing one right now seated in front of my computer.

Martin was profiled BECAUSE he was wearing a hoodie, so the trend obviously was in full swing before that.

Seriously? I've been wearing them since I was in elementary school in the early 70s. And I'm wearing one right now, dressed for work. Guess us 50 year old white women are acting gansta.

Wearing a hood doesn't impair vision much more than sunglasses do. I have more blind spots from the rims on my sunglasses than I do my hood. I wear my hood in the morning in my car when its cold out, until the heater is working full blast (at which point I remove it). All you have to do is swivel your head just a wee bit further than normal, which IMO, makes it SAFER to drive seeing that the driver has to take that extra precaution.

Its the idiots I see NOT wearing hoods that make all the boneheaded moves out there on our streets. Whats the guy's excuse for tailgating me? What about the bimbo behind me on her cell phone? How about the guy not using turn signals? What about the chicks speeding through school zones?

THOSE are the idiots who need their cars "crushed into a cube". Not the people wearing a hood for a bit while their cars warm up.

If it’s subzero and I don’t have a hat, I’ll pop my hoodie up while driving until the car warms up. If it’s really cold, both hat and hood. A Patriots hoodie. I feel the hate.

I’ll use the hood in the cold walking across the parking lot but remove it when I get to a heated building. No point making people wonder if armed robbery is happening.

Skiing, my Gore-Tex shells alll have hoods that fit over my helmet. If it’s subzero, snowing, raining, or I’m skiing under snow guns, I use the hood.
