I'm with the majority (as of now anyways) I use the turn signal for the obvious reasons, to turn or change lanes, politely.

It's better to use my turn signals as a defensive driver, to show my intentions, than to see other drivers use the... one finger signal directed at me!

I use my turn signals. Why not? It's easy to do and takes only a few seconds.

On one of my former cars, I put on a bumper sticker which said, "Be different- use your turn signal."

My turn signal means "I'm planning to move into the other lane ... but only when I have the right of way or until someone yields that right of way to me."

I love it when someone in the next lane puts the turn signal on and proceeds to move over even though the lane isn't clear. Excuse me, but just because you have your turn signal on doesn't mean it's safe to turn! Morons.

Using your left turn signal here means its safe to PASS (pass you). If you're planning on turning left, better be careful!
