Car repair videos can be a great help with unfamiliar car repairs. Anything from a tire change to a complete engine overhaul can be found on the net. Any make car model any part replacement, any diagnostic procedure the web has it all. I have found information and demonstrations on the subject of car repair and maintenance that surpassed information in the best of car service manuals. Car manufactures and new car dealers are putting demonstration videos that supplement car manuals more complex instructions for new owners and they are very well received.. As a caveat some of the information out there is just a waste of time so you must do your homework and find the good sources. What's your favorite car information resource on the net?

YouTube, hands down. I use it for everything from making dinner to fixing something on my car I am not familiar with.

I just installed new upholstery in my Mustang, and without an excellent video I found on YouTube, I would not have gotten done as easily as I did. They outlined it step by step, and even what tools I would need.

Great resource.

I usually search out a Make-Model forum where someone's likely to have had the same problem I'm working on.

I used to google for things I needed to know, now I utube. Here's a site For anyone who owns a BMW that likes to do their own work.

RealOEM.com - Select Your BMW Model. Type in the last 7 digits of vin and you'll see microfiche style diagrams of every area of the car with BMW part numbers. Copy paste part number in google and then look for the best price.
