Hyundai makes garbage nowadays. Just google hyundai engine seizing. Major recalls, which solved nothing since it was a design flaw.
They started out terrible. Then in the early to mid 2000s made really good cars. Around 2011, they started to make garbage again with engines throwing a rod bearing and completely failing.
