Go order a Porsche. You can do all kinds of fun stuff with the interior, including contrasting stitching on the leather, contrasting seat belts, leather headliner, leather dashboard, different steering wheels, different interior lighting, pretty much just about anything you want to pay for.
I like all of the "cool" features you mentioned - AND - I like style (which you might not be familiar with, unless you have studied vintage cars). So, translated, what that means is that the interior LOOKS (and IS) luxurious - AND - that there are interesting design features - (again, check out vintage cars to get a grasp) - it's not all black plastic this and that with no style.
I looked at the engine of the new VW and it was all covered in plastic - nothing shiny in sight.
Just boring and blah and uninteresting. No engineering that could be seen (lots of design flaws - the seat belts are so far back on the coupe that you can throw your back out, twisting to reach them - just kind of dumb).
The level of luxury is going to be tied to your price range.
If you want to go all out, you can order a fully loaded Mercedes E-Class (even the C-Class interior is pretty nice these days) but it will get expensive. I think it’s one of the nicest interiors on the market. Real wood, real leather is available, and real aluminum speaker grills. It won’t look like it’s from 1953 or anything, but it looks much better than it did in the 70s-2015.
The most custom and unique for the budget has to be the Mini Cooper hands down. Play with the build and price tool...https://www.miniusa.com/tools/learni...els-build.html you can get Chesterfield leather seats, wood dash trims, etc.
My Grand Cherokee Overland Summit had real leather and it was everywhere including the dash. Newer ones have exposed poor wood trim. I got a lot of random compliments on the interior. It was probably the most luxury for the buck.
Mercedes aside, German cars generally will have a bland boring simple looking interior compared to everyone else.

The new Beetle comes with Leatherette. As noted, this is not real leather, but has the look and feel of real leather. To find this out, I just did a 'build your own' on VW's website. Choose the SE model which comes standard with the leatherette. It isn't leather, but it also isn't cloth. I have an 09 Jetta with the leatherette and it still looks brand new. IMO, this holds up much better than the cheap leather used in everyday vehicles such as Honda, Ford, Chevy, etc.
^ Totally. Our run of the mill Mazda has heated seats/steering wheel, HUD, adaptive LED headlights, AWD, 19" wheels, power liftgate, 2-memory power seats, sunroof, 7" touchscreen +nav, and yes, full leather. All under $33k.
