My car cover disintegrated within weeks in the heat and sun of Phoenix, AZ. Do you know of any that last in our harsh climate? Car is always in the sun unfortunately and only used for long trips and vacations. Thanks!

Kimberly Clark - the diaper people make one of the best car covers.

Check out the NOAH brand by Kimberly Clark.

Why not put up a car port either canvas or steel?

Don't you find the trouble of throwing the cover on and off a bit of a hassle? Millions of cars survive in AZ without a cover.

I would not use a car cover because it’s easy to get small scratches from the dust and sand particles on the body of the vehicle.

Have you been to Arizona and viewed the cars left outside with the clearcoat pealing off?

Wouldn't happen if owners would bother waxing.

You’re better off waxing every 1-2 months, trying to park in shade or installing a cheap car port over using a car cover outside here. Too much heat, not to mention dust between your paint and car cover here. You’re trying to protect the paint, not scratch it.

Not only the paint, but I’ve seen dashboards become ruined due to the heat.

I have relatives who live in AZ and I am a frequent visitor. They have gone through multiple vehicles and I have't seen any sign of sun damage anywhere.
