I am trying to sell our 14 year old cars but no takers yet. Just a CL ad as of now. I know its difficult to sell, but any pointers are welcome.

Should I try with those multi country flag dealers?

Sometimes it takes awhile, do you have a competitive price? Follow CL instructions to relist and check that your ad is there, One time I was doing it wrong.

What’s the car? It could be overpriced for what it is. Could be a model that’s not popular

Put a sign on it. Include the miles and price. Park it by the road.

CL will get you nothing but scams. You can try local Facebook (Sold it on Facebook - for your area). fewer scams there because they have to be signed up in your local area.

Also put up signs in your local grocery store pharmacy and anywhere they allow this where lots of kids work or shop.

That may well depend on location, here in SE NC I've bought 3 cars and later sold one of them thru Craigslist with no problems at all.

I tell you, I put my 10 year old truck on facebook (not even the marketplace - just my "friends") and I had 4 messages in 10 minutes of people interested or interested on behalf of other people.

Sold that day for full asking. Lady bought for her son.

So that is one option.

Probably the way I'd go again.

Ah, thanks! I'd forgotten about that model designation.
