My one son delivered pizzas , working his way through college. He was making more a week than most people who work 40 hours per. He was a hustler, had a great personality, and got huge tips. He almost hated to graduate and get a "real" job because the money was not as good.

We think these "lowly" jobs are minimum wage, and in most cases they are just the opposite.

That car is most likely a 2008 - 2010 C300. $5000 - 6500 car. Why is everyone obsessing over the old inexpensive car a hardworking pizza delivery guy drives? Pretty petty.

Uh...no.

More likely, it means he's borrowing someone else's car (probably family) while his is in the shop.

Older Mercedes, no big deal. I saw one here in a Tesla. There’s no telling how the pizza guy got his car, and it doesn’t really matter, as long as it arrives in one piece and hot.

Who cares. It's a 7-10 year old C-Class worth less than a 3 year old Civic or Sentra econobox. Add in high miles and/or a salvage title and it's easily a $5k or less car.

Most people equate ANY Mercedes with being high dollar, even older ones. Its kind of crazy, but it just shows how much that brand is recognized.

There is a guy around here that drives a red SL500 convertible, people oh and ah over that car all the time, but in reality, its probably only worth a few grand now.

People vastly overestimated the expenses of used luxury cars and underestimate the power of good credit.

Anyone with good credit and a minimal wage job can finance a Mercedes. A pizza boy or burger flipper in a luxury car is not uncommon as we think it is.
