Have a local Firestone shop with a friendly and honest manager I trust. Took my 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE with 16 inch wheels for an alignment and they had a sale including the model tire I’ve always wanted, Bridgestone Turanza with Serenity 2, an all season grand touring tire known for smooth quiet ride. Tire Rack comparison rated it lowest in snow among other Grand Touring all season tires but I don’t live in snow country. I live where the roads are very bumpy. The drive home was much quieter and smoother than on the OEM Hankook tires. Hopefully I won’t see a change in fuel economy. Considered their low rolling resistance tires but I average 32 around town. Two days ago I drove from Lafayette Louisiana to New Orleans and back again to visit the National WW2 Museum. Was stuck in 5pm traffic in New Orleans on the way back and I still averaged 43 MPG round trip. If the price of gas goes up again when I’m ready to replace my tires then I may consider low rolling resistance tires. Until then comfort, noise, handling, and braking are more important.
