So perhaps you got a Lemon but Honda quality is not slipping as far as I can tell.

As to the old C vs A battle my personal opinion is that while the Honda is dynamically superior to the new Camry the redesign is butt ugly. I actually like the looks of the Camry SE better and with the V6 available it seems Toyota has at least scored a triple, although the Honda turbo 4 is just as fast as the old V6.
Me and about 10K other owners all got lemons
I owned a 2008 Accord V6, 3 brake jobs and a engine that consumed a quart of oil every 500 miles.
Sold it after 2 years. I then made the same mistake of buying 2012 Accord with the most uncomfortable seats ever imagined in a car, sold it a year later, but hey see for yourself.

I have 2004 Honda Accord with 180k and no issues except burning oil

On the Honda message boards a lot people are yapping about Honda lying about MPG in the newer Accord Hybrids.
Does your accord hybrid get the MPG's its supposed too?

New Hondas don't last as long as the old ones. Simple as that...

Both 2018 Toyota Camry and 2018 Honda Accord are top 20 worst new vehicles you can buy right now, as stated from current car problem trends.

Where's 2018 Ford Fusion?

Do you like Betty or Veronica?

Go with what is going to make you feel good about driving it and there's no objective way to measure that.

My '16 Civic is shaped similar to the Accord, and has the same styling flaws, mainly being a bit to busy and having a few bad angles, one being as from the front quarter. In profile it's decent looking but at the low end of the car market looks aren't that important.

People will still buy ugly cars at the lower middle price point, there are much more expensive and hideous ones than either the Accord or Camry. I don't think either is ugly - they're transportation appliances not a sexy European machines.

Look at Lexus with those vast plastic grills.....I mean, what could be uglier?

Maybe I am the exception, but 98% of the looking in my car is me in the drivers seat looking out.

Aerodynamics have made most all cars shaped the same. I'de love to see a test with the grills and other things removed and have people decide which cars are which.

Maseratis would be mistaken with Hyndais....etc. etc.....

So much of car marketing is dependent on emotion...which is interesting considering the device itself is a tool.

SUV's and Crossovers are the cars I find quite ugly - like stretched eggs. Most other cars are function=form and then trim...

The Civic is a really nice looking ride considering where it sits in terms of price and value. Remember, just a few years back we had to buy Saturns and Neons at that price point.

And why only show the side profile of the Camry? You show the weird grill of Accord, but why not show the even worse grill on the Camry?

The Camry has a scary front end let’s be honest, it’s not pleasant or elegant at all. Toyota when nuts with this new gen Camry. Also the interior quality isn’t all that either. Very cheap feeling and hollow sounding doors when closing. Still too much cheap plastic and feeling trim everywhere.

I’d rather buy a Sonata over any of them.
My sentiments exactly. My wife is shopping for a new mid-sized sedan to replace her 2010 Camry. She is leaning towards the Camry again, but I'm trying to convince her to go with a Sonata, or even better, a lease-return Genesis.
