Most vehicles you pull the turn signal stalk back toward you. It's called flash to pass.

Illegal?

Why the hell do you think people use radar detectors and Waze GPS app?

Hint: to warn you about police. Hell, you could even listen to a police scanner if your heart desires.

This is garbage.

It doesnt disrespect anyone, the cop would rather sit there all night than pull over people and watch them deny they were speeding. The cop sitting there does the same job as people flashing, it slows people down. Job done, crack on.

Wow! Didn't know people still flashed their lights at oncoming traffic due to police presence. I recall seeing this as a teenager in the 70's. Haven't witnessed this practice since then. At the time, I considered the practice a kind gesture. Not so sure of that now that I'm older.

This was common when I lived in Ohio. I also flashed my high beams at the cops when their instant-on radar lit up my radar detector. I wanted the cops to know I knew they were using radar. Never once did the cops ever stop me for that. All they care about is revenue generation.
