Both of my front speakers quite working in my car. The rear speakers work fine, but if I fade all of the way to the front, there is a very low sound that sounds tinny and that is all. Would this be a radio/tuner issue, or could it be a ground issue?
Usually both front speakers won't go out entirely or simultaneously due to physical deterioration. My guess would be a problem with the wiring or radio/tuner, but you won't know without digging into it.
Good luck finding the bad solder joint in a car radio. Most will probably have high temperature solder which won't melt with a home iron, and it's possibly too small to be visible.
Also, I normally set the blinker sounds on the "loud" volume level. I just realized that the loud volume is not working either. It seems to be at the "normal" level. I presume this must function through the front speakers somehow and the fact that the front speakers are not working also is not allowing the "loud" sound level for the blinkers, etc.
