Several years ago we bought a slightly used car for a great price. The previous owner was a smoker. We complained to the dealer and they kept it overnight to use a professional ozone generator. The smell was gone...... for about three days then it gradually crept back into our senses. We complained and they did it again. Smell was gone again for several days, then it came back.

I finally took a whole day cleaning by hand with carpet cleaner, sprinkled baking soda all over the upholstery then vacuumed it up after a couple of hours, a soapy sponge on the headliner, seatbelt, dash, door panels, steering wheel, windows and anything else I could reach. I left the windows open whenever the weather permitted and did the whole routine again a week later. I also put a small container of coffee grounds under one of the front seats, and a small container of charcoal under the other seat. After about three weeks the smell was barely noticeable when you first got in the car. BUT, it took almost 6 months before the smell was completely gone.

There is no quick fix for some smells.

Seats are pretty easy to remove. I went this route with a stinky truck I recently bought. Hit them, and the carpet with the pressure washer. Scrubbed with baking soda. Vast improvement, but...

A lot of Febreze.

Clean off visible dirt with the moisture from the Febreze.

I cannot believe all the recommendations for Febreeze. It is basically a perfumed cleaner. Does a very poor job, IMO.

As I posted much earlier, Simple Solution or other enzyme-based cleaners work much better for bodily smells and substances.

Vacuum seats, spray 409 or carpet cleaner on the seats, let it sit for a few minutes then scrub with a brush.
