AFAIK, the Sorento was never offered as a LWB - a third row came in the higher end models. The latest Sante Fe was sold along with the smaller Santa Fe Sport. They will be offering the current Sorento and the Santa Fe Sport. Their 7 seaters have always been a little snug vis a vis the competition. Hence they are bringing on the Telluride and Palisade.

I think you’re right, I was thinking they did because they offer it with a V6, similar to the long wheel base Santa Fe.

I’ve read that they will coming out with a longer version of the 2019 Santa Fe, but that could just be a rumor.

I see a lot of Cadillac, escalade, and GMC in both of the vehicles shown in this thread.
The palasade looks like a small escalade.

Bob.

I see a lot of Chevy Traverse and Ford Explorer, a little bit of Escalade and maybe even some Toyota Highlander influence.

The Kia looks like a low budget Rolls Royce Cullinan had a drunken love affair with a Jeep Renegade.

The Kia looks a lot better than the Hyundai, love affair or not.
