Whatever you say. Hyundai’s is confirmed, so that’s that and Ford wouldn’t talk about producing one for the international market since they already do that.
You seem to have a real chip on your shoulder regarding small pickups and anyone who dares voice the opinion that they either want one or think a market exists for them. Why do you take it so personal?

Hey i could care less Ford, GM, and FCA have had their tiny pickups in the past if they we’re a market for them why did they quit making them, hmm, let me guess they were not selling that’s a good reason to not make them anymore. Ford even gave it a shot with the sport track still didn’t take off.
They stopped selling for two obvious reasons: price and gas mileage.
As the “small” trucks got bigger and more expensive, and nearly the same fuel economy as the full-sized versions, what was the point? Even I bought a Ram 1500 over any of the midsized in 2016. At the time, they’d have actually cost me more and real fas mileage looked to be only about 3mpg better on average.

I’d buy one. I want a BoF truck that is not so close to full size that it doesn’t make sense to buy it.
I’ll be in the market to replace my Frontier in the next few years, but I hate all of the current mid size offerings.
Ridgeline looks like a Civic and is not sturdy enough for beyond basic hauling or off-roading
Canyon/Colorado have no greenhouse and look like bath tubs placed upside down, plus I’ve never driven or ridden in a GM product I’ve wanted to own
Ranger is interesting but $$$
Tacoma is ugly and rides horribly
Frontier is now a 15 year old design and I already have one
Gladiator is $$ plus I have a Jeep already
I’d buy a Tacoma. It’s the only one that looks like a real truck to me without being huge. But again, the one I’d buy is like $4000 less than a Tundra similarly equipped. Wth?
Everybody keeps saying the same thing, and that’s what Hyundai has realized if you incessantly read the articles like I do: people don’t want “mid-sized” trucks that are basically the same thing as the full sized. They also don’t want the ugly Ridgeline that is less capable than some cars. Hyundai has listened and will hopefully come through.
