- ? Do you mean the Ford Ranchero or the Chevy El Camino? Chevy didn't make a Ranchero
- compact hatchback. POS also acceptable.
The only place I have troubles is the line between sports car, supercar, and hyper car.
In 1965, a magazine called the GTO a supercar, before "muscle car" was a term. A sports car can be a supercar, but not all supercars are sports cars (GT cars can be supercars). And what's the crossover between supercar and hyper car? 900hp? $500,000?
Mercedes CLS or any vehicle that claims to be a 4 door coupe.
Any car described as a 5 door hatch.
Maxima when it describes itself as a 4 door Sports Car.
Mercedes G wagon.
If the game is strange looking vehicles that are neither fish nor fowl...oldies but goodies
- Subarau Baja
- Chevy Ranchero
- AMC Pacer
wasn't that a Ford Ranchero and Chevy El Camino you're referring to?
either way, both of these were reasonably comfortable to drive utility light trucks. Used to haul a motorcycle to the tracks or a 19' sailboat with an El Camino. The Baja was in the same concept, but too small to haul anything but camping items.
MB G-wagens remain one of the most capable off-road vehicles ever built. Have used them to access remote camps off trails in forest or logging areas for decades.
The Challenger is probably the only "real muscle car" left. The Camaro and Mustang are both closer to sports cars than the Challenger.
Sports cars should have only seating for two. As long as it has a back seat, it should be classified as a muscle car, or a sports coupe, not a sports car.
