Everyone has to pit non-production, custom made or modified cars...some costing millions, to compete with a stock Dodge!

A Challenger is a two door 5 passenger pony car.
A Charger is a 5 passenger sedan.
A Viper is a two door Sports car.

All were made for a specific market, all dominate their respective market.
Each one CAN be modified to dominate other markets but then you can MODIFY just about anything to do that...it just depends on how muh money you want to spend. When modifying, it's no longer about the base vehicle and more about parts.
Same goes for specialty or boutique cars like the Koenigsegg...REALLY? You have to compare a 2.5 million dollar custom built car that has less than 30 per year and costs 25 times that of a Dodge car off the production line?
There is NO Dodge that competes with any of those cars on the list above. None. The cars you mentioned are MUSCLE cars not sport cars. Other then the Viper. 1320ft is a contest of the quickest up to that point, beyond that the Dodges get thier collective arses handed to them.

I don't think you understand the definition at all! Dodge dominates constantly....everyone has to mod crap to beat them.

I understand. But the topic is the FASTEST not the QUICKEST. For the PRICE the Dodges are one of the quickest cars out there. I’m sure Porsche, Ford, Chevy, etc. could make a car just as quick or quicker IF they wanted too, from the factory.

Dodge may very well have created the quickest cars ever made ... but they didn't create the fastest. the people who write these columns have no clue about cars, and many of them have no clue about the English language. Quickest and fastest are two totally different things in the world of cars.
"Quickest" is 0 to some velocity, while "fastest" is top speed.

And i guess every article is wrong about the Dodge Demon as the fastest production car that is made on the assembly line are lying.

And the Demon can keep on going while the Tesla putters out because of the drain on the battery while the Demon keeps on going.
