I’d be happy if they did the speed limit. Instead they do about 10-15 UNDER and just about come to a complete stop. It also makes for a long drive on a road that has 20-25 curves on it, you have a row of cars behind them getting miffed , which can cause some drivers to do something stupid. There are turn offs for slower drivers but they hardly ever use them.
I agree, my daughter and her husband live in a small mountain town, and the flatlanders aggravate everyone by driving like cautious turtles and holding up everyone else. They also tend to brake suddenly with no warning and seldom use the turn offs.
Second, in my opinion, Glendale, CA. Glendale has one of the worst driving records in the nation and is known as "home of the hit and run."
Depends on how you are grading. In Boston vs Connecticut vs Rhode Island, RI has the lowest skill drivers. I didn’t think it could be possible but Connecticut has worse d-bag a-hole drivers than Boston. I think it’s because Boston has seen a lot more white collar professional inward migration. The Boston driver thing has been watered down by transplants.
The Massachusetts South Coast is an extension of RI with the same low skill drivers.

Florida is full of New England and New York transplants they are everywhere. And they are use to public transportation that Florida doesn’t have so these people have to get a vehicle when they didn’t drive allot.
I hear Florida drivers are the worst except for maybe California. But Jersey drivers are bad.
My aunt and uncle moved to California to get a better chance on an organ donor list and the " road carnage" there was a factor.
But if you want to see truly horrible drivers, real head cases and menaces on the road.... go to Russia. They routinely carry clubs and fight over accidents and hit and runs are common.
