This will be my very first time doing it (selling my own car).
Other than mentioning
1. The work (with their respective receipts) done on it,
2. Where I got it from (from a Used Cars dealer).
3. Maybe this (?):
"Supposed to go to the vehicle registration office in Quebec with a safety certificate that has passed for operation in Quebec. After that you can transfer ownership to the person and they will pay the tax based on the bill you give them."
From this forum.

I read from a forum at RedFlagDeals.com
"Sell as is. Remove your plates, sign ownership and inform MTO about the sale." (what is MTO btw?)

If someone could break the procedure in steps, in the right order, that would be of amazing help!

Thanks guys

DPC

Oh, I see. Then that's specific to that situation (when selling to people from Ontario).

About "singing ownership", is this done with a document from the Vehicle Registration Office in Montreal?
Or maybe I need a "contract of sale of a used vehicle" Or is this only for Used Cars dealers?
