In full size light and medium duty trucks it’s Ford with 215k sales in Q1 2019 leading GM who are on 154k sales and then RAM 120k sales. Toyota has only 25k and Nissan are just under 10k.

I'm sorry but it is according to published sales, what do YOU think is the best selling?

The F-Series (150, 250, 350 and 450) combined is the best selling truck. If the F-150, by itself, were the best selling truck you can bet Ford would be stating that in their advertisements, but they aren't.

I say this as someone who currently owns a 2016 F-150, nothing against Ford, just clearing things up.

A simple Google search will show you the error of your ways, the F150 IS the best selling truck, nothing even close!

Ford does not break down their sales, and they do so for a reason. Again, if the F-150 were the best selling truck all by itself, Ford would be more than happy to let you know about it.

Truck manufacturers don't break down the individual line of trucks in their available sales fleet. (i.e., F line is all F's, not just 150, but 250, 350, 450, etc.)

Here is an article that attempts to lend some clarity to the subject.

I read the article and I believe the author mis-interpreted the facts at his/her disposal.

The quoted sales figure of just over 900,000 units of F-150 sold actually represent the total F-series sold during that same period according to Ford released figures.
