I have 2003 S-10 pick-up, every time it rains, the next day it wont start, I had the battery replaced, and the coil replaced, it rained last night, and no start in the morining, until it dried out. Any ideas?
chance of 2 problems, main relay for the no start when its hot.... and cap,rotor, wires for the no start when its wet. the gasket on the dist. cap is probally old and its letting moisture in the cap my advice is to change cap, gasket, rotor. and throw some plugs and wires in ther for safe measures.
My rear view window wiper on my 2000 Expedition only turns on when its below freezing. Living in Florida we never get to use it. Only when we drive back to Texas during the winter.

Does the engine turn over? Does it act like it want's to start but won't? does it click but not turn or is it completely dead?
OP, probably the main issue is your spark plug wires, particularly if they are original or otherwise really old. You can confirm this by starting the truck from cold at night and raising the hood - you will see "corona discharge" which is robbing your spark from the plugs, so to speak.
A quick temporary fix can be to just spray the wires good with WD-40.
Replacing spark plug wires is within the ability of any decent DIY type - go buy a good set of spiral type wires, maybe a boot puller, and some dielectric grease so the new wires won't stick to the sparkplugs - change one wire at a time.
If it's not the wires, my next suspect would be the distributor cap, again easy to DIY, again move the spark plug wires one at a time to the new cap. Work carefully and you won't have issues.
If the truck needs tuning, now would be the time for new spark plugs, cap & rotor anyway...better now than the dead of winter.
