The Lexus isn’t really the same thing. It’s the a full-size sedan (basically an Avalon) while the other two are compact sedans (about the size of a Corolla).
The Audi and Volvo have four-cylinder engines standard, while the Lexus has a V6. It depends on exactly what you’re after and the price. The Lexus is better transporting people in its backseat and will likely be more reliable and well-rounded. The other two will be flashy and more fun, however.
This. ^^^
The Volvos of today don't have the quality that they had when they were independent, or a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company so I would cross Volvo off my list. I presently drive a Lexus, and before that I had an Audi. I would say it is a tossup if you are going to get all of your service work done at the dealer. If you are going to have it serviced at an independent shop, go for the Lexus. If the independent shop specializes in Audi, then again it is a tossup.
I would go with the Audi or the Lexus. The Audi will provide a much better sports car type ride and there reliability has gotten much better over the years.
The Lexus os also a very reliable vehicle, perhaps a tad better than an Audi and the service costs with the Lexus will be less than the Audi. So if you are favoring a more enjoyable European sports car ride then the Audi would be a better choice IMO.
This makes the assumption that everyone believes (or should believe) that reliability is the number one most important thing about their car purchase. Some people may be willing to sacrifice a little bit of reliability in favor of some other qualities they value in a vehicle. As a car enthusiast, and someone who likes nice things, the driving experience, responsive controls, etc are more important in a "treat myself" kind of a purchase. So for that, of the cars on your list, I'd get the Audi.
In the Lexus line, I'd much rather have the IS-F than the ES-350 (which is really a Camry in fancy clothes). The IS-F is a bit more "special" and competes well with the Audi S4 and BMW M sports.
Man I don't know about that. The IS-F's are pretty underpowered compared to the others:
ISF 350 F-Sport = 311HP / 280 Torque
BMW 340i M-Sport = 382HP / 369 Torque
Audi S4 = 349HP /369 Torque
I don't think the IS-F can really compete with the top end of the 3-Series/S4.
There will be a new one out next year, as well with a 500 hp TT V6, but I'd take the last gen IS-F out of any Lexus, short of the LC500 (which is really the same engine as the IS-F, just looks better for much more money).
None of those. If I were looking at those types of cars, I would just buy a camry with all the options I wanted and save some money. As others have mentioned, the Lexus is just an overpriced camry with some useless crap added and most likely perforated leather seats which tend to get tears from perforation to perforation if you keep them an extended amount of time. Plus **** like salt and sand gets in all those stupid little holes and annoys the crap out of me.
Only real luxury sedans are the European made cars: Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Porsche since they are the benchmark in luxury sedans.
Next step higher than that, are the Bentley and Rolls Royce.

Everybody else is trying to keep up.
Lexus LS, Genesis G90 and Cadillac CT6 (especially the Blackwings) and Tesla Model S are definitely luxury sedans.
I put the VW Phaeton right up there as well when they were still producing them.
Let's throw in the Jag XJ and Maserati Quattroporte while we're at it.
Because Lexus is a high end Toyota and Toyota makes a very reliable cars.
