That's what my momma told me when I was weaned on the smokestack of a tractor for 16 hrs / day.

At least it was not a GAS tractor!!! That stuff is dangerous and will kill you! (Ask anyone in Oregon and New Jersey!)

On the Manf end (emissions required to make a EV...)

There are a million old cars that take NO manf resources & will run fine and with very low emissions (Especially on bio fuels). Works for me cuz I live in the boonies and need to drive. Anyone within 10 miles of a town can get by without a belching car.

Could meet the EPA goals with conservation, starting tomorrow.
Focus research and marketing on alternative fuels and sources (A better idea for LT energy independence and what that costs the USA).

This is not too pretty... E power generation in USA by source... 64% Fossil fuels That is SAD for a techy (?) country. (While we continue to sideline Nuclear.)

Would be nice to see US(A) lead the drop among developing nations in n E consumption. (very possible if we determined to do so)

So many SIGNIFICANT OPPORTUNITIES, so little initiative, incentive, global responsibility, contribution to WW benefit.

Exactly, the earning power curve is still unlocked for

There is a reason automotive brands are racing to add in as much eco boosting and computerization as possible

And also consider the fact that electric cars would probably be gone if it weren't for all the aluminum we still are struggling to recycle
