Not a good deal. I've seen new 2019 Dodge Journey 4-cylinder going for as low as $12,999 sale.
Geez that's a good deal, those are not fantastic by any means but the platform has been in production so long it should be pretty solid by now. Even if you lose 6K in valuation by driving off the lot (you will) you're losing the same 6K on the 20K whatever you're going to buy in its place, just maybe over 18 months as opposed to near immediately. Even legacy Chryco will get you to 50K and you'll still get 3K+ on trade in.
Just how tightly do they strap cars down on these ships? Enough to hold them in place if flipped on its side? Can already get a basic Kia Rio or Soul in the $12-13k range on the base models. I'd imagine any of those models on this ship have more damage than they are worth, even brand new with 0 miles. Higher trims/models may be worth saving.
Souls are nowhere near 13k anymore. After dealer fees closer to 16-17k. Msrp starts at 18k, $1k for destination fee. That’s 19k. Max rebate is 2400. 16,600. Dealer cost is 600 less. Top models over 30k. The Soul is hot right now for 2020.
