What are the least cost advertised vehicles in your area? I say advertised as if I walked in with that amount of money, can I drive away in it?

For new, probably Chevrolet Spark with manual transmission only ($8,999). For automatic with roomiest cabin-space, Dodge Journey 4-cylinder ($12,999). I once saw a new 2017 Dodge Journey (5-passenger only) for record-low $11,499. 7-passenger seating is now standard, so slightly-higher MSRP base today.

Spark or Mitsubishi Mirage, which has a long (5 year, 60K mile) bumper to bumper warranty.

Boch Auto Group (with a half-dozen brands) has Chevy Spark models in the $12K range and Chevy Trax models in the $15K range... Nissan Versas in the 15s and Hyundai Accents in the 16s... Toyota Corollas and Honda Fits starting around $18K.

Nissan Versa used to be one of the cheapest you could buy, but it's a complete piece of garbage. I'd take the Spark over it.

The current Spark is one of the most underrated cars out there. Its just too bad they could not do away with roll up windows for the base model. I bet most people would be more than willing to spring an additional 500 bucks for automatic windows and power locks.

All you need is auto, AC, power windows, maybe cruise but that could be added later on.

The Spark EV is one of the crazier cars out there. It's a tiny torque monster and now they're cheap.
They sell like crazy on Carvana... they have 88 on their site for $10K to $12K. Their inventory of them changes fast.

Fun car if you have have a short commute.

Dodge Journey has all of these for as low as $12,999.

No, you will not walk in with that amount of money and leave with car.
1. it's advertised car stock #************. There is great chance it's simple bait. You show at dealer just to hear that "that vehicle was just sold but we have a much better one for just a little more". It's common practice.
2. If youi found something to your liking, you call or email internet sales manager and ask about OTD price. Out the door. As you will end up with quite a hefty mark up after all the fees etc. Example: local UTV dealer has SxS advertised for $7K plus pennies. OTD price is $14K.

It's Mexico versus Korea.

Nissan versus GM for a cheap budget car.

A Japanese engineered car versus a GM engineered car.

I'll take Nissan over GM.
