yes. Ever see a mattress on the roof of a car folded up and trying to lift off the car at 50 mph?
an object the size of a car is greatly affected at speeds above 25-30 mph. Even little things matter. Drive along at 50 mph, hold your hand out the window flat and level, then start to twist it up and down and feel the air try to move your hand and arm as you turn your hand more toward vertical.

So can new cars, if you're paying attention. Younger car fans may not be able to tell those old cars apart at a glance, either, as they didn't grow up with them and were not interested in them in their formative years. I grew up working on them and paying attention to car magazines back to the '50s, so I can tell them apart at a glance, but I can also tell new cars apart at a glance as I'm interested in them and still pay attention to car magazines and websites.
