Hi gang.....
I just bought a used Toyota Camry ( 2005, new to me lol) and it's a dark blue color.
When out in the sun , whewwww , you can see swirl marks all over it from the wax that is on it.
Whats a good wax to use on this dark colored car so I won't have these swirl marks ?
Thanks for any info.
Bob

Default Meguiar's Tech Wax

I like this stuff. Also comes in a liquid. Sold just about anywhere, so no need to mail order.

I used Liquid Glass on my black and dark purple cars. It seemed to work well even in hot sun.

Most quality waxes will do the job, 1234TEST . . . as long as they are used properly.

Avoiding heat and direct sun are most important as well as use all polishes and cleaners very sparingly. Also, since you are new to this vehicle, "wax buildup" could be the cause of the problem you are describing so you may need to do a thorough cleaning prior to waxing.

Lots of work the first time but after that, if kept up . . . A PIECE OF CAKE.

Good Luck

Use a glaze before waxing. The purpose of the glaze is to fill in the spider web scratches that wax can't.

There is a company, The Wax Shop, that sells a product called "Safe Cut". Probably one of the best things I have used to remove swirl marks, especially on dark colored cars.
