The cheapest advertised price is often designed to pull you in. They may not have it. My standards for a rental are not very high but that Versa was awful. If you're financing, the cheapest car and the one that is acceptable are only a few dollars apart. I'd start with Sentra.
I've bought a number of pre-owned luxury cars at these price points and was pleased with all of them.
If I bought this dreck, I'd only be pleased when I got out.
The only "cheap" car that interests me is the Spark EV.

i think the ford focus have transmission trouble and they can barely give them away. I've seen lots of ads where they describe the cars as manual transmission because they don't have the issue only to see in the pictures that it's clearly an auto transmission.

That may be true. I was just answering the OP's question, although I see now it was requesting 2019 or 2020 models.
