An Acura RLX should be cheaper. It is way overpriced when new and not a good selling car, so depreciation should be substantial.

I've never seen one or ever heard if it, had to google it. Is it a glorified Accord?

TLX is the Accord.
RLX doesn't share it's platform or engine with any current U.S. Honda sedan. It is a level above.
It's made in Japan and is called the Honda Legend there.

It's not a common car... they're only going to sell about 1K of them in the U.S. this year.
So if you don't want to drive what the Jones' drive, here you go.

I actually like the Lexus ES (2018 or newer) more than the GS, and it's actually cheaper.

Of course, its the entry level executive sedan comparable with 3 series and c class. GS and LS are higher variants. But I m not sure what purpose GS serves.

And to Op, if you have come down from audi to gs to acura, then yould very well go with an ES or a camry.

A Camry (or Avalon, for that matter) is not even close to an RLX.
Avalon is a step down. Camry, two steps down.

Anything but the Audi. Worst car we've ever owned...and we bought it new. Lots and lots of time in the service department from day 1 - literally.

Read up on A7 motor mounts.

A6 should be fine; typically not driven hard, typically leased. Several different engine options so use due diligence.

Lexus is just a rebranded Toyota; boring. Get the Acura.
