This week we took our cars to a local car show, and there was a half million dollar Ford GT 40 there. I said to the guy " Nice car", and he didn't give me the time of day. So, yes, some exotic car owners are really pr***s.
Interestingly enough, here's the thing about what is an "expensive car" according to the study:

Oooh, how expensive that is! WTF, this is a seriously flawed study. Extrapolating personality traits on ONE data point (stopping at a crosswalk, and only one crosswalk in one part of the country, at that) and a difference of a mere $2100 in value of the cars observed, with the "expensive cars" still being valued under $10k!!!
This isn't talking about exotic cars, new luxury cars, etc.
MY younger brother whom every one calls a nice guy, bought a well used BMW. But after a few years of paying for repair costs and having it out of service a few times decided to trade it in on a used Toyota
That's normal. When someone buys a well used BMW, one should EXPECT to pay several thousand dollars to get the car up to snuff. That should be considered.
People that buy a used BMW or Mercedes on the cheap thinking they get a good deal because of depreciation are uninformed. They have to do their research on the car's maintenance history and realize there are certain parts on the car that have a certain lifespan. That's the price of owning such a car.

Especially in today’s world of “lifetime fluids”. Lifetime of the owner? Vehicle? Or the lease?

I have noticed that Audi drivers are the worst people. I've seen some trashy behavior by drivers of "flashy" cars, and in several instances, it was a male driving an Audi.
I don't own an expensive car......but I am a total jerk.....could I be an even bigger one if I had an expensive car?
Perhaps some researcher would by me an expensive car to test out the hypothesis......Perhaps i'm a jerk because i'm broke and would be a nicer person if I had a valuable car....or not
The story says the volunteers in the study were crossing the sidewalk.
"They came to this conclusion after asking volunteers to cross a sidewalk hundreds of times, filming and analyzing the responses by car drivers."
Why were so many cars driving on the sidewalk?
