With FCA and PSA merging, what do you think will happen to the Giorgio platform. Will it live on in an updated form or will it get killed altogether? The Giorgio platform has led to some beautifully designed cars with amazing driving dynamics like the Giulia Q4. But with the sports sedan market dwindling I wonder if it will be kept alive.
Giorgio will probably stick around to be used as a basis for future RWD models. The platforms that PSA will standardize on for 2/3 of vehicles are the CMP and EMP, both of which are FWD bias.

Do you think the next gen charger would move to this platform ?

They've been saying that for years.
Then they just keep on building what they're building. The people that buy them like them just the way they are.
There is really no good reason to move it. The current cars are probably quite profitable because tooling was paid off long ago.
I'd just keep on making special editions and charging $$$ for them.

In 2018, Marchionne said the the LX cars would go onto an updated version of that platform, not Giorgio. The thinking is that Giorgio is designed for a more European sports oriented ride versus the horsepower and straight line acceleration of the LX cars.
But under PSA, everything could get tossed out the window.
I suspect Giorgio will remain. It is relatively new and modern rwd/awd architecture. I've seen indications a future Dodge crossover to replace the Journey will be Giorgio based (although tons of FCA rumors are just vaporware too)
PSA is not bringing anything like that to the table. The will contribute newer and more modern FWD platforms to the mix.
The fate of the LX cars I think is still uncertain. The latest easter egg from FCA hints at an LX replacement in 2023. That is long enough away it could be the modified LX Marchionne spoke about, or some altered version of Giorgio (which insiders have hinted at).
