I bought all of my cars with similar discounts and often more than that....last year I got my Cadillac CTS-V (a similar supercharged 6.2 V8) for 88K with a sticker of 104K and a second sticker (bunch of dealer add-on BS) of 115K.
Toy or not, if you have really bad time, you sell what you can and 12% is not that deep of a discount.
So to me they are not suffering, at least not in my area.
Except the Cadillac CTS is not exactly a hot-selling commodity for a number of years now.
The CTS-V is an entirely different animal than the "regular" CTS models given the production limitations on those. (Same could be said for the CTS V-Sport, too, which also had a limited amount of production.)
Both the CTS-V ($$$$) and CTS V-Sport ($$$) are in a much higher price band than their regular CTS models. (2.0 = $, 3.6 = $$.)
The CTS-V is a totally different animal than a regular CTS.
However neither the Trackhawk is strong seller.....they made 5000 of them for Model Year 2018 and many are still waiting for owners in dealer lots and even before the COVID-19 crisis you could get a fully loaded one in the mid 70Ks.
In my case, I do not want a MY 2018 because there are few changes in software and interior for 2019 and 2020.
Chrysler probably over reacted to the 2018 debacle and built a fraction of MY 2019 (2020 is ongoing).
So the Trackhawk is not exactly a "hot" seller (I monitor the inventory at many dealers, the one on dealer lots are not taking off that easily) but supply is obviously much tighter than a regular Grand Cherokee.
I'm ready to bet that eventually my phone will ring, some dealers will eventually hit a rough patch and I will get my deal (I know of at least 3-4 cases of 2019-2020 Trackhawks sold at 15% discount). Patience is the key, every day they pay interest on floor financing....time is on my side.

Exactly.....
I made an offer at the end of 2018 on two 2019 CTS-V with the same exact options (only the color was different) at two different dealers, first to call would get the business......one called me back next January (after a bit of back and forth, including two walk away episodes) and I got my car at my price, the other CTS-V is still on the same dealer lot (probably one of the last if not the last new CTS-V left in the nation) because the sales manager will not budge from only few thousands off MSRP.......so this car now has spent 2 years at the dealer, mainly parked in the open and who knows with how many joy rides on the clock...no sane person is going to buy that car with only little discount.
Now, dealer holdback is gone, any hidden incentive GM could provide to sell is gone and they are sitting with an unsaleable car at the price they are willing to let it go and paying financing charges every month on it....eventually he will have to "donate" the car as a free or discounted lease perk to an employee or to a family member...or at the end of the road selling it wholesale where the dealer will get creamed.
Simply, some dealers do not know how to sell and when to sell.

Definitely not looking good at this point as there's no real pent-up demand and dealers are having to offer all types of incentives that once are started will be difficult to discontinue in near future

From what I hear the CTS-V is gonna be discontinued
That looks nice. For $85k though who's got that kind of money laying around for a go-fast toy is my question.
Was happy to hear Nissan is intending to release a new twin-turbo Z though. If they don't botch that one by refusing to offer a proper 3-pedal setup like Toyota just did they could really have something there.
CT5-V-Blackwing replaces the outgoing CTS-V
CT5-V replaces the outgoing CTS V-Sport
I am a huge fan of the CTS V-Sport - a 3-time Car & Driver 10-Best Winner. Fantastic chassis and driving dynamics in that car. The CT5-V is cheaper than the outgoing CTS V-Sport but it also loses ~ 60hp and 30 ft-lb of torque vs the CTS V-Sport. They claim the 0-60 is only a couple tenths slower, though, as the new car is a little lighter. We'll see how that goes for them....

What kind of incentives are dealers offering now that they weren't 6-months ago?
I've seen the exact opposite. While everyone expects there may be trouble in the fall, right now inventories across the nation are 30% lower than last year and there is still minimal production going on. Many dealers have been able to hold margin better than before given they are low in inventory on some models, especially pickups:
Generally speaking now is not the time to score a great deal. A few months from now may be another story, though, as most people inside the industry are prepping for major inventory/sales issues in late summer/fall.
