PHILADELPHIA, April 26 (UPI) -- A 76-minute promotion of 76-cent-a-gallon gas honoring the Philadelphia 76ers drew scores of thrifty motorists, those lucky enough to benefit from it said.

Philadelphia resident JoAnne Baker said she attended Friday's event at the Lukoil gas station to take advantage of the 76 minutes the site was offering a gallon of gasoline at historical prices, The Philadelphia Enquirer said.

By this time next year, they can have a sale on Gas at $7.60 for 76 minutes. People will be lined up around the block.

I wonder what happened at the 76 mark? Did they shut off the pumps right at 76 minutes?
