Relative is looking for tires for his old Cavalier. Tire size is either 175/80-R13 or 195/70-R13. Says he can only find trailer tires in these sizes and not tires for cars.

That was cheap. Most 13s are in the $200+ range each these days due to low demand and lower supply.

Nope, it's a specialty automotive tire:

Not sure where they are actually made (probably China), but I wouldn't trust my life to cheap Chinese tires, no matter how poor I was. Tires are the only things between you and crashing, especially in wet weather.

Wow...Even TireRack does not have car tires in those sizes. Even looking up "what fits a 1982 Cavalier", they say "Sorry, nothing available".
