Checking to see how much time it takes to fill up a can with fuel proves nothing. That test checks fuel volume, not pressure. That Nissan does not have a schrader valve to check fuel pressure. You need a good fuel pressure test kit to hook it up inline. From what you're describing, you need a fuel pump....if the filter isn't clogged up. Save up for it, and replace with a name brand pump, not the cheapest made in China POS you can find on Amazon. Replace the filter at the same time. Stop wasting time with fuel additives and guesswork. Your car is trying to start with the fuel line unplugged, because there are still gas fumes inside the combustion chamber. You're just pissing in the wind trying to diagnose it the way you're doing it.
I've been thinking about this. Though, ... hmmm. I wonder how the bad fuel pump could make it not want to start?

I could also try unplugging my CTS, see if that makes it start.. If I knew which one it is

I can pretty regularly recreate having it "want to start" with the fuel line off. Did not know that much fuel (or, as you said, vapor) can remain in the engine.

Mix a little backing soda and water to make a paste. This dissolves the white corrosion that sometimes builds up on the battery connections and causes a poor connection.

Depends on if you experiencing significant voltage-drop/current-limiting due to
a bad connection. If there is close to none, you will not see any improvement.
